A performance in which contemporary dance, whirling dervish, puppetry, video, contemporary poetry, Persian music (kamancheh) are intertwining. A puzzle of fragments (shadows, reflections, distortions) which overlap as a decomposed paradigm of our beings trespassing a hopscotch game.

The installation concentrates on the hopscotch as a graphical and a spatial representation of a dictionary of emotions and images, as an invitation and an exercise of freedom and playfulness, as a journey through inner and outer dimensions of yourself, as a perpetual changing, as a puzzle.

On the island drifting away on the borderline between reality and imaginary, a space that for a while becomes Prospero’s, the sound of love is tuning up.

Three cultures converging in a fourth, drawn by a common preoccupation with the nature of time, light and shadow, brings artistic partners from the U.S., Hungary and Romania for creative experimentation and collaboration.

The performance takes its cue from the myth of Orpheus, dismantling this corpus of entangled stories, ideas, religious beliefs and interpretation into a strand of elements.

In a madhouse, instead of the usual treatment, the patients receive their daily MUSIC.

… just what do we see? Two superimposed heads framed by feet, which seem to have lost their anatomic origin: is it a family portrait, a potentially offensive love scene, the staging of a fetish or a premonition of mourning?

I want the performance to be floating in primitive essences. The barrel is the Matrix of this world. It will become a table, a chair, a hiding spot, a drum, a bath-tube, a counter, a manger. You drink from it, you sleep in it, you play it, you have a bath in it.
